What we build

Full-stack BigCommerce development.

Custom Stencil themes

Purpose-built Stencil themes rather than a marketplace template bent into shape. Fast, accessible, and structured so your team can merchandise without a developer.

API & app integration

BigCommerce REST and GraphQL Storefront APIs, custom apps, webhooks, and third-party integrations that need to survive platform updates.

ERP & back-office integration

NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Business Central, and AS400 integrations with real-time inventory, pricing, and order sync. This is where most BigCommerce projects actually get hard.

B2B & wholesale

Customer groups, price lists, company accounts, quoting, and buyer portals for brands selling wholesale alongside direct-to-consumer.

Checkout & Open Checkout

Custom checkout work using BigCommerce's Open Checkout, including financing, subscriptions, and non-standard payment or fulfillment flows.

Performance & SEO

Core Web Vitals, template and script cleanup, structured data, and the technical SEO that keeps a replatform from costing you rankings.

Why brands hire us

Four reasons clients pick us for BigCommerce work.

25+ years of ecommerce

We have been building online stores since before most of today's platforms existed. That history shows up in how we scope integrations and plan migrations.

No platform religion

We build on BigCommerce and on Shopify. If your requirements point at the other platform, we will tell you during discovery instead of selling you the build we would rather do.

Back-office depth

Most agencies stop at the storefront. The projects that go wrong go wrong at the ERP, the WMS, or the tax engine. That integration layer is our core competency.

Senior people on your project

You work with the people doing the build. No account-manager telephone game between you and the engineer who understands your catalog.

Proof

PayJoy: replatformed to BigCommerce Enterprise.

We moved PayJoy onto BigCommerce Enterprise with a custom checkout, a financing API integration, and Cubbo fulfillment wired into the order flow. Checkout velocity improved 40%.

It is a fair picture of the work we do on BigCommerce: the platform handles the commerce fundamentals, and the hard part is the custom checkout logic and the systems it has to talk to.

Who it's for

The kind of BigCommerce project we do well.

We are a good fit for brands doing meaningful revenue where ecommerce is the business, not a side channel. Typically that means a catalog with real complexity, at least one system of record that has to stay in sync, and a team that needs the storefront to be operable without filing a ticket for every change.

That includes brands already on BigCommerce who have outgrown their original build, brands replatforming onto BigCommerce from Magento or a legacy system, and brands running B2B and direct-to-consumer from the same store.

If you are launching a first store with a small catalog and no integrations, a good theme and a competent freelancer will serve you better than we will, and we will say so.

Why BigCommerce

Real reasons to choose BigCommerce over Shopify.

We build on both platforms, so this is not a pitch. These are the arguments that actually hold up when we scope a project.

01

No percentage of every sale.

Shopify takes a cut of transactions unless you use Shopify Payments, and that cost scales with your revenue forever. BigCommerce does not charge transaction fees on top of your gateway. At meaningful volume this is not a rounding error, and for some brands it is the entire business case on its own.

02

A checkout you can actually rewrite.

BigCommerce's Open Checkout can be customized completely, not adjusted within the boundaries an app or a script allows. If your conversion strategy depends on a checkout that does something unusual, that difference decides the platform.

03

Bring your own payment and checkout process.

Some businesses have to own the payment flow, whether that is proprietary financing, an unusual settlement model, or a regulated process. BigCommerce accommodates that. It is precisely why PayJoy runs on BigCommerce Enterprise with its own financing integration wired into checkout.

Add to that strong native B2B, multi-storefront without an enterprise upsell, and an open API surface, and there is a clear profile of company that belongs on BigCommerce. If yours is one of them, we will say so. If it is not, we will say that too.

FAQ

Questions we get asked.

Do you only work on Shopify, or do you really build on BigCommerce?

Both. Most of our recent work is Shopify Plus, and we say so plainly, but BigCommerce is a platform we build on and support. PayJoy is a BigCommerce Enterprise build we delivered with a custom checkout and financing API integration. The honest framing is that we are an ecommerce development agency with deep experience on both, not a single-platform shop.

How much does BigCommerce development cost?

It depends almost entirely on integrations, not on the storefront. A custom Stencil theme on a clean catalog with no back-office systems is a very different number from a build that has to sync inventory and pricing with an ERP in real time. We scope from requirements rather than quoting a package price, and we will give you a range early in the conversation rather than after weeks of discovery.

Can you take over an existing BigCommerce store from another agency?

Yes, and it is a common way projects start with us. We begin with an audit of the theme, the installed apps, the integration layer, and anything custom that was bolted on, then give you a written picture of what is solid, what is risky, and what should be rebuilt. You get that assessment whether or not you continue with us.

Do you work with BigCommerce B2B Edition?

Yes. Customer groups, price lists, company accounts, quoting, and buyer portals are core to a lot of what we build, and B2B is one of the areas where we have the most depth. There is a dedicated page covering our BigCommerce B2B work in more detail.

Can you integrate BigCommerce with our ERP?

That is the part of the project we are usually hired for. We have built integrations against NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Business Central, and AS400, including real-time inventory and pricing sync and bidirectional order flow. We will want to understand your system of record and how much of the logic lives there before quoting it.

Should I be on BigCommerce or Shopify?

It depends on your catalog structure, your B2B requirements, your integration footprint, and whether you want to avoid transaction fees on non-native payment gateways. We work on both platforms, so we have no incentive to push you toward one. We will make a recommendation during discovery and explain the reasoning rather than handing you a scorecard.

Are you a certified BigCommerce partner?

Yes. We are a BigCommerce BigDev Certified Partner, which is the technical development certification rather than a directory listing. We are also a certified Shopify Plus Partner. We hold both because we genuinely build on both platforms and we would rather give clients a real recommendation than sell whichever one we are locked into.
